  • MPCB Consent to Establish

    This consent is to be obtained prior to establishing any industry or process. The validity of MPCB consent to establish is up to 5 years or up to commissioning of the unit.

    This consent is to be obtained before starting any production or activity. The validity of MPCB consent to operate depends upon the pollution index criteria set by CPCB and MPCB.

  • MPCB Consent to Renewal

    The Consent is to operate is given for a particular period which need to be renewed regularly.

  • Documents required for MPCB license

    Application Form: The application form provided by MPCB must be filled with correct information

    Proof of Identity: Documents like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card or Passport may be required to establish the identity of the applicant.

    Proof of Ownership or Lease: Documents showing ownership or lease of the premises on which the activity will be carried out must be submitted. This may include property documents, lease agreements or rent receipts.

    Layout & Site Plan : A detailed site plan and layout of the proposed activity or project may be required, including location of various installations, machinery, storage areas and sewage treatment plants.

    Project Report: A comprehensive project report detailing the proposed activity, its scope, process, raw materials, pollution control measures and expected environmental impacts should be prepared and submitted.

    Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report: In some cases, an EIA report may be required, especially for activities that have a significant impact on the environment. This report assesses potential environmental impacts and suggests mitigation measures.

    Consent to set up/operate: If the project or activity falls within the ambit of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, it is necessary to obtain establishment and operation consents from the concerned bodies.

    Financial Documents: Financial information such as bank statements, income tax returns and project cost estimates may be required to assess the applicant’s financial capacity.

    Pollution Control Equipment Specifications: Information on the installation or proposed installation of pollution control equipment, along with their technical specifications, must be provided.

    Undertakings and Affidavits: Undertakings and affidavits may be required to comply with environmental regulations, pollution control measures and legal obligations.

    NOC from Local Authorities: Depending on the type of activity, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) may be required from the local municipal corporation or other concerned local authorities.
